TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                        The coming of Christ Jesus in human form is to recreate the fallen world/humanity and restore it to its original glorious state. God had to take our nature in the person of Jesus Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary to salvage us. In becoming one like us Jesus teaches us to become little infants who will be docile to the will of God and the promptings of the Holy Spirit at all times and in all circumstances. The desired new world is brought about through human collaboration with God in His Divine plan for humanity. Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.                                                                                                                           Please follow, subscribe to, like, share and comment on our YouTube channel and Facebook page @ Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson, our Facebook, Instagram, Blog and Twitter @ FadaPeterBenson and our websi

Mon. Nov. 28th, 2022 Homily in Brief.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                         The centurion said to Jesus Christ that he's not worthy to have Jesus Christ under his roof but requested Jesus to say a word and his servant would be healed and so it happened. This is a statement of faith and a sign of humility. These two virtues are essential for us to enjoy the unconditional love and favour of God. Advent season is designed to help us build up these and other viruses. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                           Though God is a merciful and a compassionate God, He's also a just God. The fact that human beings have freedom of will implies that there will always be consequences for every human action, decision and inaction. Don't be deceived, you shall be rewarded according to your deeds. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                           Stand strong and firm. God shall again defend his own people and bring down the strongholds of the enemies of God. Every Babylon-figures in our lives, families, nations and the world will certainly fall and give way to the manifestation of the fullness of God's reign and the vindication and glorification of God's people. Wed. Nov. 23rd, 2022 Homily in Brief.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          Tears may tarry for the night but rejoicing comes at dawn (cf. Ps. 30:5). I don't know what you've been through and may be going through. Don't despair nor give up hope. God is working a way you can't see now. No matter the thickness of the darkness you're going through now, cling to the hand of Jesus like Peter (cf. Matt. 14:22-33) and his mother-in-law (cf. Lk. 4:38-40) for there is light at the end of the tunnel. Jesus is lifting you out of your era of sorrow and tears into your season of unending joy and celebration.  Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.                                                                                                               Please follow, subscribe to, like, share and comment on our YouTube channel and Facebook page @ Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson, our Facebook, Instagram, Blog and Twitter @ FadaPeterBenso

Sat. Nov. 19th, 2022 Homily in Brief.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                         Human existence goes beyond this temporal world and as such our motivation and drive for what we do must be coloured by our believe and conviction in the life after death. Human life and human existence would be meaningless and as such reducible to the life of beasts/animals if all we live for ends in the here and now. Death is only a transit point to eternity and not an end point to himan life. Be guided! Thur. Nov. 17th, 2022 Homily in Brief.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                           Blessed indeed is the Lamb of God who was slain for the remission of our sins. The price of our salvation was paid in the precious blood of Jesus Christ occasioned by His self-sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary out of love for humanity. The pain of Christ Jesus is seeing us not recognising our moment of Divine visitation and grace. Be a benefactor, to the fullest, of the love of God made manifest in Jesus Christ. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                            Many at times we are carried away by the illusion that we have a lot of time in the world. Unfortunately, reality suggests otherwise. Get busy doing good because you may not have all the time to right your wrongs in life. Besides, the opportunity you have to do good today you may not have tomorrow. Now is your opportuned time to do as much good as you will live to be proud of, to contribute to the building up of God's kingdom on earth and to impact on human society positively to the fullest of your potentials. Get busy doing good. Mon. Nov. 15th, 2022 Homily in Brief.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          Today's readings call us to wake up from our slumber. Unfortunately, many Christians today are deep in the slumber of passive Christian way of life, gross neglect of their Christian responsibilities, sins of the flesh, materialism and poor sense of moral judgement. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                         Our prayer life is generally faced with series of challenges to the effect that we get discouraged praying especially when we feel we are not getting our desired results.
