TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                        

Human existence goes beyond this temporal world and as such our motivation and drive for what we do must be coloured by our believe and conviction in the life after death. Human life and human existence would be meaningless and as such reducible to the life of beasts/animals if all we live for ends in the here and now. Death is only a transit point to eternity and not an end point to himan life. Be guided!

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
