TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                        

The centurion said to Jesus Christ that he's not worthy to have Jesus Christ under his roof but requested Jesus to say a word and his servant would be healed and so it happened. This is a statement of faith and a sign of humility. These two virtues are essential for us to enjoy the unconditional love and favour of God. Advent season is designed to help us build up these and other viruses.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
