TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                           

Many at times we are carried away by the illusion that we have a lot of time in the world. Unfortunately, reality suggests otherwise. Get busy doing good because you may not have all the time to right your wrongs in life. Besides, the opportunity you have to do good today you may not have tomorrow. Now is your opportuned time to do as much good as you will live to be proud of, to contribute to the building up of God's kingdom on earth and to impact on human society positively to the fullest of your potentials. Get busy doing good.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
