TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                        The coming of Christ Jesus in human form is to recreate the fallen world/humanity and restore it to its original glorious state. God had to take our nature in the person of Jesus Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary to salvage us. In becoming one like us Jesus teaches us to become little infants who will be docile to the will of God and the promptings of the Holy Spirit at all times and in all circumstances. The desired new world is brought about through human collaboration with God in His Divine plan for humanity. Jesus loves the Blessed Virgin Mary so much. The Blessed Virgin Mary loves Jesus so much. NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
