TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

My faith is my identity. The genuine practice of the Christian faith distinguishes Christians from other members of the society. In fact, the name Christian was used to identify the followers of Jesus Christ in Antioch because their lifestyle was modelled after that of Jesus Christ, something that merited them being described as Christ-like. If you're a true Christian, it will be seen in your way of life and not just in your words, name and uniform.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 20, 77, 123 and 1 Samuel 16:1-13 from 1st to 9th May, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
