TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Cry to God and call upon His name in your needs and trials and God will come through for you. St. Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans (10:13) for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Similarly, God assures us in Psalm 50:15; "and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Our God is ever faithful and too faithful to fail. He won't fail you in your needs.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 125, 126, 147 and Isaiah 40:26-31 from 1st to 9th June, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
