TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

We're created to serve God and humanity. In serving, we're served. This is because in serving God, we're saved, and in serving our fellow human beings, we become God's instruments in saving humanity, which in turn is the greatest service that we can enjoy in life. The call to service must carry on board these two dimensions: namely, service to God and humanitarian service. This enables us to give everything in reality their rightful place and relate with each accordingly.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 20, 77, 123 and 1 Samuel 16:1-13 from 1st to 9th May, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
