TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. 

Thomas, in today's Gospel, says to Jesus; Lord, show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied. This request is informed by a deep desire to have a personal knowledge of the person of God. This knowledge sorted after is one that will transform the life of the followers of Jesus Christ to the point of becoming like Jesus and God the Father. It's a quest to become one with God. This knowledge of and intimacy with God is brought about by close and intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who is one with the Father. This in turn leads to genuine and eternal satisfaction. 


For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 20, 77, 123 and 1 Samuel 16:1-13 from 1st to 9th May, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
