TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                               


There is a common saying; "injustice to one is injustice to all". It's even more true to say that injustice to one is injustice to God, for we're the bearers of God's presence. The treatment we give to others is an expression of our believe in God and the manifestation of our love/hate for God. Our friendship with God comes to light in the way we treat others and our enmity with God shows forth in our inhuman treatment to others. Why are you persecuting God? You can still show by your lifestyle how much a friend or persecutor of God you're. It's never too late.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
