TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          

In today's Gospel, Jesus tells Judas; "the poor you always have with you, but you do not have me always" (cf. Jn. 12:8). We must always take advantage of every moment of our life to serve God through Jesus Christ and our fellow human beings with the highest level of reverence, devotion, loyalty, submissiveness and love. This is because we may not always have the opportunity to. We must, therefore, eschew any form of excuse capable of deterring us from serving God wholeheartedly; no matter how plausible the excuse may appear to be.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 18, 44, 108 and Matthew 28:1-10 from 1st to 9th April, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
