TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                             

Availing ourselves for God's use does not in any way reduce us but, on the contrary, gives us the privilege and opportunity to collobarorate with God and participate in His Divine plans in bringing about the salvation of humanity. Today, celebrating the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary is presented to us as a model in doing the will of God and serving the will of God in bringing to reality God's plan to save all people. We're God's for we're created by God, in God and for God (cf Jn. 1:3; Col. 1:16).

Jesus loves the Blessed Virgin Mary so much. The Blessed Virgin Mary loves Jesus so much. NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
