TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                         

We, as human beings, are finite beings and as such we're called to adopt the life of humility and readily submission, acceptance and carrying out the will of God. We're also divine to the extent that we share in the nature and essence of God. Though formed from dust, we draw our essence and existence from God. To this effect, we must use our human will and freedom in such a way and manner that we keep close to God and His holy will so we don't loose our companionship and communion with God. This we do by allowing ourselves to be guided by the will of God even while making use of our will and freedom in our daily choices.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 31, 54, 94, 1 Chronicles 4: 9-10 and Isaiah 60:1-22 from 1st to 9th February, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
