TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                           

Whatever a person sows is what he/she shall reap. Today we're reminded that there shall always be a moment of reckoning; a time that each gets the appropriate rewards for his/her actions, inactions and words. As we continue with the electioneering process, God warns us today not to neglect to do that which is right, lawful and just. This is because the Nigerian people will judge each of us for what we've done or failed to do and will come at us on the day of reckoning.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
