TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          

As God's beloved children, the best place to meet Jesus Christ is to seek Him in where He is usually found most of the time in His life. Jesus Christ will always identify with and be with those who are at the margin of the society. In fact, if you seek to find Jesus Christ, seek Him in the poorest of the poor. We're called to extend a helping hand to those in need out of our love for God. You're lifted to lift others. You've been raised to raise others. As you enjoy the helping hand of God, become a helping hand of God unto others.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
