TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                         

God is love. He created us in love, for love and to love us. In His love He imparts us with life for His love is the agent of Life. Since He's love, He is indeed life and the fulness of life itself. In Jesus Christ we see this life made incarnate and this love expressed in its concrete terms. Today Jesus Christ charges us to love one another. In this charge, He invites us to share in His life by concretely expressing this God given love for our fellow human beings.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Numbers 6:22-27; Deuteronomy 20:1-4; Psalms 118, 129 and 141 from 1st to 9th January, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
