TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          

God's love for you is not predicated on your faithfulness.  He loves you even while you're in enmity with Him. His promise to save you and the entire humanity cannot be deterred by your unfaithfulness. Yes, there is hope for you for God won't fail to come through for you to save you. Your life narrative as a person, a family,  a community, a nation and a world may be dotted with all kinds of dents. He'll create out of your narrative a perfect and beautiful story of your life that the world will marvel at in awe of God's love and faithfulness in your life.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
