TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                            

The child is the hope and the future of the family. The family is the domestic church and the smallest unit of the human society. Hence, the fate of the future of humanity rests majorly on the child. The success and/or failure of the church and the society therefore depends largely on the child; and as such his/her upbringing. Train up your child in the way he/she should go so that when he/she is grown, he/she will not depart from it.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
