TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                      

Jesus is indeed the Son of God. He is truly  God and truly man through whom we are made adopted children of God. He is God made to make us children of God, restore us to full communion with God and restoring us into sharing in the fulness of God's image, nature and glory and in that sense deifying us. You are a child of God sharing in God's essence and substance through Jesus Christ. May people experience this essence and substance of God in the encounter with you.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
