TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                         

What does it really mean to say one is the temple of God's glory? What's the true meaning of body positivism? Does body positivism connote one's body being the temple of God's glory or is it reducible to the celebration of nudity as we have it today? What exactly is the human body designed for? What's the relationship between body positivism and holiness? NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
