TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                         

In the face of hopelessness what do we do next? When all efforts and prayers seem to have failed us, what should be our next line of action? When God appears to have abandoned us in our afflictions and misery, to whom do we turn? Are you one of those asking today: can anything good come out of my country, my marriage, my family, my job, etc? BELOVED IN CHRIST JESUS, DO NOT LOOSE HEART FOR DRY BONES WILL RISE AGAIN AND NOW IS THE TIME.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
