TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          

Indeed United we stand and divided we fall. This is an age long truth and principle; a principle upon which the church/virtue has thrived over the years. Sadly however, we seem to have traded away to the world this principle and vices have so much thrived given the united front of vicious people while virtuous people are retrogressing due to disunity. We must get united in a Christocentric love to conquer the evil that threatens us today.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
