Jesus Christ has not only paid the price for our sins and effected our redemption, he now appoints us his very disciples and close collaborators to bear witness to him which has as its ultimate end the glory of the resurrection. This is the life lived in the imitation of christ; a life that is heaven oriented, centred on holistic salvation and wellbeing of humanity and never earthbound.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
