TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          

The access key to unlock, access and take possession of your blessings is OBEDIENCE TO GOD. Disobedience excludes you from God's fold and God's blessings. Today, God invites you not only to remain in His fold and blessings but to also ensure that non in His household is excluded from this same fold and blessings. Like St. Paul, let us become all things to all people in order to save some.                                                        

May your day be blessed and may you take possession of all your possessions through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
