last Friday of the month prayers

Dear child of God, fear not! Do not be afraid! Do not loose heart! Do not give up! Do not despair! God has not and will never abandon you nor forsake you (Joshua 1:5; Psalms 27:9; 37:25; 71: 18; Isaiah 49:15; 14:9; John 16:33)

What a privilege to stand on the most sacred ground of the National Pilgrimage Centre of Jesus The Saviour, Elele to pray and offer the Holy Mass in the company of such great instruments of God such as His Eminence, John Cardinal Onaikan (emeritus Archbishop of Abuja), His Grace, Most Rev Felix Alaba Job (emeritus Archbishop of Ibadan), Very Rev. Fr. Emmanuel M.P. Edeh, CSSp (Founder of the PilgrimageCentre), a host of other ministers and millions of the children of God praying for you and all yours. 

As I dedicate this Three-Day-Prayer exercise which has in attendance the Papal Nuncio to Nigeria, several Catholic bishops and millions of God's children to praying for your intentions may God hear speedily from heaven and grant your prayer requests and good heart desires.

For every situation in which any Nebuchadnezzar has declared no God will rescue you from his/her hand (Daniel 3:15) may God the fourth man in the fire of Daniel 3:24-25 and the God who sent the angel of Daniel 6:16-22 come to your rescue. May the Archangel Michael of Daniel 10:1-13 restore to you all you have lost and taken from you. May the glory of God coming upon you and your family surpass the glory of your past (Haggai 2:1-9). May you be called by a new name which God himself will pronounce (Isaiah 62:1-10). The Egyptian you see today may you live to see no more (Exodus 14:13). May God visit you and your household with his salvation and blessings (Luke 19:9). May the sick receive God's healing, the downcasted upliftment, those in despair and in sorrow God's unfathomable consolation and restoration and those who have lost meaning in life a new hope and the oil of gladness. May God hear your prayers and bless you beyond your imagination. 

Please kindly keep your prayers coming in as I continue to lift you and all yours up to God on his Holy Altar of Sacrifice, especially during this Three-Day-Prayer exercise.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
