THE TROUBLER OF ISRAEL

1 Kings 18:16-40 records the battle between Proghet Elijah and four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal in a bid to establish whose God is supreme over the universe.  Upon proving the supremacy of the God of Elijah over the universe, the prophets of Baal were excuted. In this passage of the Bible, particularly in 1 Kings 18:17-18, King Ahab accused Prophet Elijah to be the TROUBLER of Israel but Prophet Elijah immediately and authoritatively pointed him, Ahab, out as the ACTUAL TROUBLER of Israel. THE SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY'S BLESSINGS.

Jesus loves the Blessed Virgin Mary so much. The Blessed Virgin Mary loves Jesus so much. This love is so great that nothing can separate the two from enjoying the company of each other; not even death could. Hence,  at death God assumed the Blessed Virgin Mary, body and soul, into heaven. This in a lay man's terms is what we celebrate today across the globe: THE SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY.  One may ask: 1. Is the assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary recorded in the Bible? No. But that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Not everything that happened in our salvation history is actually recorded in the Bible (cf. Jn 21:25). However, It is one of the very significant events in the history of human salvation.  2. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                           The presence of God is the one and only true and ultimate game changer. The presence of God is all we need to experience the breakthrough, turnarounds and other forms of blessings that we desire from God. Nothing is too precious to mortgage the presence for nor too indispensable to replace God with.  May His Divine presence turn around your life situation/story for good and for glory through Christ Jesus our.
