TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Fulfilling our responsibilities towards God do not negate our responsibilities towards the state just as we must make efforts to deliver on our responsibilities towards our families and communities just as we must make all efforts to fervently deliver on our religious responsibilities. As God's children, we must be consistent in our quest to meet up with both our religious and civil responsibilities.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 125, 126, 147 and Isaiah 40:26-31 from 1st to 9th June, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
