TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.

Our Lord Jesus Christ prays passionately for the oneness of the Christian people today; a unity that is not meant to be limited to a common nomenclature, uniform, ritual, colour or race. It is a unity that is rather grounded in knowing and doing the will of God; a unity founded in and sustained by the Holy Spirit. Let us be one in virtue and in the pursuit of values of the kingdom of God here on earth.

Jesus loves the Blessed Virgin Mary so much. The Blessed Virgin Mary loves Jesus so much. NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
