TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                        

Jesus Christ describes His generation as an evil generation on account of their refusal to repent from their sins and turn to God in genuine conversion. They were rather interested in seeking signs. Our generation, I'm afraid, is, in this regard, very much like the generation of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, therefore, challenges us today to sincerely turn away from sin, and embrace the life of true righteousness built on genuine conversion.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10;  Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
