TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                           

"But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we may receive full rights of sons [and daughters of God]." (GAL. 4:4-5). Indeed, Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world and the source of life, ordered world and peace, is constantly in our midst to change our world for good. Unfortunately, many hardly give Him the chance to because they fail to recognise in Him their Saviour. The people of Gennesaret did and  their situations changed for the better.

For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 31, 54, 94, 1 Chronicles 4: 9-10 and Isaiah 60:1-22 from 1st to 9th February, 2023.

NEW MONTH'S BLESSINGS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) the number 8 sometimes is used symbolically to represent that which is a surplus or a complete completion of a thing. With the number 7 being the number of completion, perfection or fullness, 8 can be best understood as still part of the whole just greater than the whole. For example, the basket is full of grains, and then there is a surplus...
