The GOD we serve is a righteous God. He takes notice of our life circumstances and, as our Saviour, he comes in His faithful love to save us. He's ever faithful and ever compassionate towards us, His children. In His righteousness He'll hear your cry for help and save you in your moments of need.

THE TROUBLER OF ISRAEL

1 Kings 18:16-40 records the battle between Proghet Elijah and four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal in a bid to establish whose God is supreme over the universe.  Upon proving the supremacy of the God of Elijah over the universe, the prophets of Baal were excuted. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                          Today the Creator condescends to meet His creatures. God Himself comes to His people; a people He had always searched for. He comes not to condemn them but to offer them His mercy, love and compassion. He comes to fill the emptiness of His people, to fulfil their hope and to redeem them from their lifelong enemies. In today's feast Jesus Christ comes to us as the Light that darkness couldn't overcome nor comprehend to dispel the darkness in our lives, our families, our communities, our religious institututions, and our world. Let open the gates that the King of Glory and the Light of the world may enter in. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.                              The realistic realisation of not being on the right path of life usually leads a sober, remorseful and repentant sinner who has resolved not to continue in sin to ask the question: What must I do? The same question generally rises in the heart of the upright who has continually suffered experiences that make him/her feel his/her hope dashed. Whatever the case may be, God always has a guide and counsel for us as regards what we must do to be saved, transformed and enjoy the fullness of the glory of the resurrection. Whatever your story may be, keep your eyes on God, seek to sincerely know what you must do, conscientiously do it and you'll enjoy divine intervention that will change your life narrative for good.
